Well it could have gone worse to be fair, but what in the world has happened to Charlton!? 3 losses in a row now after the midweek games and a total of 9 goals conceded in those games. And of course, the one they concede most in was last weekend’s Big Bet..

Other than that I actually did fairly well, 1 of my 3 draws came off and I had a few decent results around that to build up a pretty good week all things considered, especially when looking at other people’s scores…*cough*

Schoey: 3 points

Picks
Charlton 1-5 Southampton (BIG BET) - Home (-4pts)
Derby 2-3 Watford - Home (0pts)
QPR 3-2 Hull - Away (0pts)
Bolton 0-0 Bradford - Home (0pts)
Leeds 1-2 Aston Villa - Away (4pts)
Arsenal 4-1 Tottenham - Home (3pts)

Well the wheels have well and truely fallen off. 10 points in total over the last two weeks is pretty crap. And I was lucky not to end last week with minus points. The big bet was a total disaster. Only bonus was that Kieran and Will didn’t back Southampton either. I’ve pretty much forgotten how it feels to win a big bet now. So stuff the stats and form because that clearly doesn’t account for nish, this week has been my quickest selections of the season. Because, I don’t wanna spend a couple hours research on 3 points again.

Will: 3 points

Picks
Charlton 1-5 Southampton (BIG BET) - Home (-4pts)
Derby 2-3 Watford - Home (0pts)
Ipswich 0-0 Wrexham - Home (0pts)
Bolton 0-0 Bradford - Home (0pts)
Leeds 1-2 Aston Villa - Away (4pts)
Arsenal 4-1 Tottenham - Home (3pts)

Right this is starting to get to me now. What the f*ck have Southampton been doing all season to then suddenly be 5-0 up away to Charlton, who have been in good form themselves. This was a massive 13 point swing on this so I’m fairly annoyed thankfully the other two Twits made the same mistake.

Current Standings

1st) Schoey (Correct: 38, Points: 150)
2nd) Kieran (Correct:33, Points: 124)
3rd) Will (Correct: 33, Points: 108)

Gameweek 15 Picks

Kieran

Chelsea vs Arsenal (BIG BET) - Draw
Both teams are in brilliant form. If Chelsea had not impressed so much of late I’d say this was an easy Arsenal walkover, but I think with the home crowd behind them they might just sneak a draw. I really need a Big Bet win soon.

Blackpool vs Reading - Home
Blackpool have been looking pretty poor lately, but you have to remember the last 3 matches have all been away from home. Before this, they had 3 wins and a draw from their previous 4 home matches.

Sunderland vs Bournemouth - Home
An easy one for me to choose here. With how Sunderland have been this season, especially at home, I think they are going to cruise to a 2-0 type of result and come out with all 3 points.

Wrexham vs Blackburn - Home
Wrexham have gone on a bit of a run lately and Blackburn have been looking shaky. I’m backing the welsh side to use their home advantage again and win this one against a Rovers side who could find themselves dragged back into the relegation battle if they are not careful.

Doncaster vs Peterborough - Draw
Had this been a couple weeks ago, this wouldn’t have even made the selections available for Tipple I don’t think. But with Peterborough’s rise in form lately, coinciding with the sacking of Ferguson, this could be another chance to solidify that form with a good point away from home.

Chesterfield vs Swindon - Away
Hate to say it, but they are going up aren’t they. If I can do anything to help that not happen, I’m willing to sacrifice my Tipple points in order to jinx them.

Schoey

Chelsea vs Arsenal (BIG BET) - Draw
Both teams have been flying recently, and Arsenal have been flying all season. Both teams only really tripping up to the mighty Sunderland. Which pains me to say. I do feel, if chelsea play how they did against Sunderland, Arsenal could actually batter them. Caicedo missing is a bit of a worry as well. But since the Sunderland game, chelsea have been unbeaten. So that should make for a very close entertaining game against the league leaders. Hence why I have backed a draw as I feel most will go for an arsenal win. I hope that decision doesn’t back fire.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United - Home
Both of these teams have been doing pretty well this season. But Utd’s performance against 10 man Everton on monday left a lot to be desired. Whereas palace have been one of my favourite prem teams to watch this season. 4 wins in 5 in all comps and drew the other one. They should be going in to this game full of confidence at Selhurst park.

Birmingham vs Watford - Home
Both teams are having good spells in the league recently. But I do think Birmingham have been winning more convincingly, especially at home! They have scored 4 goals per game in their last 3 home matches. And hold the third best home form in the league whereas Watford have drawn 3 of their last 4 games, and only won the other thanks to an 88th minute penalty.

Rotherham vs Wycombe - Away
Wycombe are another team that started the season poorly, but have certainly turned things around now! They have actually gone 7 league games unbeaten, drawing 3 and winning 4. Rotherham have only won 1 in their last 5 games in all comps, but they haven’t lost either, so this game could go either way to be honest.

Chesterfield vs Swindon - Away
Swindon are just 1 point off the top of the table in 2nd. While Chesterfield are sat in 6th, a further 3 points behind. Swindon are unbeaten in their last 5 in all comps and I feel they may just have the edge to win this one.

???
You’ll notice Schoey only has 5 picks this week, he must have got a bit tired when doing his write up of predictions bless him. We’ll wait with baited breath to see his final pick when the gameweek starts.

Will

Chelsea vs Arsenal (BIG BET) - Draw
I watched both teams play midweek and must say they are looking in great form. Chelsea had 3 disallowed goals and completely dominated the game. Arsenal were the first team to beat Bayern since PSG beat Bayern at the Club World Cup. I can’t split them at the moment so going for the draw.

Millwall vs Southampton - Away
Well after last week I have to go with Southampton, just seem to be a new team since sacking there Manager. Now on a 4 win streak they are looking like a team that has a point to prove now.

Stoke vs Hull - Home
Stoke sitting in 2nd place and fully well deserve to be there, they had a slight blip Losing to Coventry and Leicester away but showed their class midweek to beat Charlton 3-0.

Wrexham vs Blackburn - Home
Wrexham showing very strong form and it shows with them winning 3 and drawing 2 in November. I just have a bit of a feeling that they beat Blackburn on this one.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United - Home
Well how many are going to choose this one. United keeping us entertained after they can’t mange to breakdown 10 man Everton for 73 minutes and they were at home. Palace on the other hand sitting pretty in 5th currently the only question mark is they did have a tough game on Thursday night. But I feel they should win this.

Birmingham vs Watford- Home
Watford have gone under the radar really sitting only 3pts off the play off places and unbeaten in November. Birmingham at home under the lights and there last 3 home games they have scored 4 goals in each game. I’ve got to go with the home team on this one.
