I mean what the fuck Pompey. I know it would have only been 7 points but still, 6-1!!! The only saving grace is that’s an excellent result for Oxford in the relegation scrap. Anyway, apart from that disaster I had a very meh week, still can’t believe Sunderland did the double over Toon but there we go.

Even without a correct big bet prediction last week I managed to get 12 points. 1 home win, 1 away and I successfully managed to predict Ipswich v Millwall to be a draw, which I was pretty pleased with!

Well that went terribly. 1 prediction correct to save me from -10, two weeks on the trot with just scraping by without minus points. The big bet did not disappoint from being a sceptical with the Black Cats completing the league double, and they deserved it as well played the better football and capitalised on Newcastle’s sloppiness with the ball. Not sure on why I backed Spurs to win, they were awful against Forest and could have easily lost 5-0 but hey we learn our lessons don’t back Spurs.

Crewe vs Oldham (BIG BET) - Draw
I was going to go with Crewe in this match for their home advantage, until I saw that Oldham’s frankly ridiculous form in the last couple of months. They are currently unbeaten in 10, having won 8 of those matches. Ridiculous. I think a draw would be a good result for both teams.
Reading vs Wigan - Home
One of the mismatches that can usually be found in a lower league week. Reading are currently 13 points ahead of Wigan and have over double their points home vs away. I’m pretty confident about this one.
Wycombe vs Port Vale - Home
The second mismatch, League One is a bit easy this week it seems. Although that comment might come back to bite me in the arse. Wycome are 24 points ahead of Port Vale, surely this is the banker of the week.
Colchester vs Walsall - Away
With Walsall finding a little bit of form in their last 3 games meaning they can still sneak the play-offs, and Colchester pretty much out of it with nothing to play for, I’m hoping for an away win here.
Salford vs MK Dons - Draw
Both of these are coming off the back of disappointing losses, and I think that might factor into this game in one of two ways. Either they are both going to want to bounce back with a win, or both be afraid of losing. Whichever it is, I think it’s going to end in a draw.
Worksop vs Radcliffe Borough - Home
Although there is a massive points difference between these two, Borough have fallen off a cliff (I know..) of late, and Worksop are still not completely safe. A home win here would all but guarantee that and I think that will give them extra motivation

Crewe vs Oldham (BIG BET) - Away
This should be a close game with both teams fighting for play off spots. But Oldham have had very impressive form recently. Earning 8 wins and 2 draws in their last 10 games. Crewe on the other hand have lost 2 of their last 3 home games, only managing to get the better of Tranmere in the 91st minute.
Exeter vs Leyton Orient - Away
Leyton Orient have won their last 4 games in a row. Putting up a far more convincing fight to stay in League 1 than Exeter, who haven’t won a game since January 24th.
Bristol Rovers vs Accrington Stanley - Home
As well as Bristol having the home advantage this weekend, they’ve also only lost 1 game in their last 7. Accrington on the other hand, haven’t won a single game in their last 7.
Salford vs MK Dons - Away
Both of these teams have been flying recently but lost their last games. It will be a big ask, but I have got MK to win this one. Their nailed on win/acca ruiner last weekend was pretty one sided. They just couldn’t finish their dinner. Which is a very rare case for MK this year.
Solihull vs Altrincham - Away
Solihull haven’t picked up a win in their last 9 games! Whereas Altrincham have been in pretty respectable form recently, only losing 2 and winning 5 of their last 8 games. Though their away form hasn’t been fantastic, so this could be a big ask!
Worksop vs Radcliffe Borough - Away
For my final pick I’ve gone down to the National League North where Worksop Town face Radcliffe Borough at home. A team who have drawn 1 and lost 5 of their last 6 games. Worksop on the other hand have won 3 of their last 5, and of course have the home advantage.

Crewe vs Oldham (BIG BET) - Away
I’m going away win Oldham have won 5 on the bounce and are unbeaten in their last 10 matches, I’m going with the form side which they are. Crewe in their last home fixture lost 3-0 to Walsall and have only won 2 of their last 5. I’m not over thinking this one going with Oldham here.
Stockport vs AFC Wimbledon - Home
This is an interesting game in league one where if Stockport don’t win they could slip out of the play off spaces. If they want to be serious this a game where you have to win. Stockport have had a fair strong showing at home throughout the season and they will need to show this come Saturday.
Exeter vs Leyton Orient - Away
Orient travel to Exeter with 4 wins on the bounce with notably one of those wins was an away win against Stevenage who currently sit 6th in the league. On to the home side who have lost their last 5 games and they have only managed two home wins this year both were back in January. I have to back Orient to extend their winning run to 5.
Bristol Rovers vs Accrington - Home
The Gas have been a much improved side under Steve Evan’s leadership. Their last 5 games they have won 4 and lost 1 which was against top of the league Bromley 1-0. Accrington on the other hand have failed to win in their last 5 losing 3 and drawing 2. On paper it should be a comfortable home win, last famous words there.
Salford vs MK Dons - Draw
These two sides have been in good form recently both have the same record in their last 5 winning 4 and losing their last game. Which may prove as a little wake up call especially for MK losing 3-1 at home to mid table Barnet. This is why I’m going for a draw though I think it’s going to be a cagey game with very little chances between the two.
Brackley vs Tamworth - Away
There are some very tricky games in the National League this weekend and I’m hoping I’ve picked correctly here. I’m going with a Tamworth Away win. This isn’t purely because of where each other sit in the table, but Brackley last win was 11 games ago. Since then they have picked up 2 points Tamworth on the other hand have won 2 of their last 5. They also managed to score 92nd minute winner against Forest Green midweek so I just feel like the players will still be bouncing off that win.
