With the 2025/26 season fast approaching, and the Tipple Sports launch in full motion, we figured it was time to add a little more fuel to the fire.
So, we’re proud to launch our brand-new weekly blog: This Week in Tipple Sports. Or, TWITS, for short…
Each week, TWITS will bring you the rundown on the 20 fixtures (that’s 5 from each of the top four English leagues), complete with analysis, predictions, and just enough context to help you make your picks. Or totally ignore us and go rogue, we don’t guarantee results either way.
We’ll cover everything from derbies to banana-skin away days. And of course, we will be including our own picks, so you can see if you can outscore the self-proclaimed “experts” (term used very loosely).
TWITS’ Tipple Usernames:
@tipple_kieran - Founder of Tipple Sports. Oxford United fan. Tends to go for more risky picks with a strange amount of draws.
@tipple_schoey & @tipple_will - Part of Tipple’s unofficial rules committee - back when this was just a WhatsApp idea.
Schoey - Coventry City fan. Spends hours choosing his picks, but usually submits them about 5 minutes before the deadline.
Will - Oxford United fan. A bit less methodical and a bit more “feeling” with his picks, take that as you will.

Don’t expect us to be 100% correct, or anywhere close to. This isn’t a stat-heavy algorithm or a spreadsheet with a God complex. TWITS is written by fans, for fans. A bit of fun, a few hot takes, and hopefully just enough insight to make your Saturday picks feel slightly more informed. Whether that’s betting with us or against us.
The first edition will bring you our 1-20 and 1-24’s for each of the top 4 leagues, giving a little preview into how we see the season going.
