Review: Poor. Not good enough for top spot and that’s why I lost it. Need a much better week this week to gain 1st place back again. Still, atleast my jinx on Swindon continues to work, every cloud.

Coventry 0-1 Fulham - Home (0 pts)
Stevenage 0-1 MK Dons- Home (0 pts)
Blackburn 2-0 Wrexham - Home (3 pts)
Hull 1-1 Brentford - Away (0 pts)
Review: Another meh week with just 6 points! Possibly one of the most boring big bets I’ve seen all season unfortunately finishing 0-0. My team Coventry let me down again (that’s the last time I’ll be backing us). Thanks to Blackburn and Luton at home for saving me any major embarrassment.
WILL (16 pts)
Bristol Rovers 0-0 Swindon (BIG BET) - Draw (10 pts)
Cheltenham 1-0 Newport - Home (3 pts)
Portsmouth 2-1 Millwall - Draw (0 pts)
Exeter 2-1 Fleetwood - Home (3 pts)
Stoke 0-0 Bristol City - Home (0 pts)
Hull 1-1 Brentford - Away (0 pts)
Review: Another good week 16pts always helps and back to the top of the Twits league. Thank you Rovers and Swindon for the boring nil nil draw. FairPlay to Portsmouth for the big win at home to Millwall. I didn’t think they had it in them.

Big Bet
Liverpool vs Arsenal (2 Draw, 1 Away)
Kieran (Draw): This is the standard type of Big Bet where you just have to go for a draw really. Anything can happen in these types of games of course, as with all Big Bets, but with the premier league top dogs it usually is all build up from Sky or TNT or whoever is showing it, and then ends up being an extremely boring draw. Let’s hope for the same here. Long live the EFL and thank god the big games in that are not the same.
Schoey (Away): This may seem like a risky pick, and that’s because it is. Though Liverpools form has shown a sea of green recently, I don’t think Anfield is the fortress it once was. And they have been shipping goals at home this season. They now come up against the league champions and one of the strongest defences in the world. If arsenal manage to get 2 goals past Liverpool I think that’s would be enough.
Will (Draw): I’m firmly sat on the fence on this one very hard to choose a winner especially at Anfield. I’m hoping that they cancel each other out maybe a 1-1 draw.
Clashes
Fleetwood vs Bristol Rovers (1 Home, 1 Draw)
Kieran (Draw): Quite simple this one really, everytime I go with or against Rovers they let me down, so time to try a new tactic: the draw.
Will (Home): Well after watching the Big Bet last weekend Rovers just don’t have a lot going forward. Fleetwood have had a dramatic win against Arsenal in the cup, to me they are going to be full of confidence going into this hopefully a nice easy 2-0 home win.
Leicester vs Stevenage (1 Home, 1 Draw)
Kieran (Home): Leicester are starting to find their feet in my opinion, and only a matter of time before they go on a bit of a run. I’m hoping it’s all going to start here. But hopefully not too much of a run that they start to worry the mighty Yellows at the top.
Will (Draw): Leicester do look like they’ve turned it around and are starting to put a good run of form on. Stevenage will be a challenge for them they have a big team physical team that will stop them playing football and I think that is one of Leicester’s weaknesses at this level. I Don’t think it will be as easy as calling a home win.
Going It Alone
Kieran
Plymouth vs Reading (Home): Well, I almost gave up on Plymouth when they were letting me down a few weeks ago, however a few goals can certainly change things drastically and we are right back on board with the Green Army. Hoping for another 3 points here.
Swansea vs Blackburn (Away): After their 5-0 battering at QPR I can’t really not go against Swansea let’s be honest, and Blackburn did get me some of my only points last week so it’s a no brainer this one to me.
SCHOEY
Norwich vs Watford (Home): Norwich finally looked more like themselves away at Charlton last weekend. Dominating all stats and winning 1-3. Watford have just 1 point on the road this season, coming from their first away game. They have since lost 5 away games in a row. I must say though the early kick off does worry me.
Hull vs Ipswich (Draw): I was originally leaning more towards an away win in this fixture but have decided on a draw in the end. After a very strong start to the season, the tigers have finally stopped mauling everybody. But they have still been picking up draws against strong opposition. Ipswich have a dangerous forward line with quality in depth as well. I would be annoyed if they end up getting the away win but I wouldn’t be surprised.
Bournemouth vs Leeds (Home): Leeds have surprised me with their fairly solid start to the season. Though they have only picked up 2 points away in the last 2 months, managing to score no more than 1 goal in any away prem game this season. Bournemouths recent form across all comps is too good to ignore, they are flying. Averaging 3-0 across their last 5 games and not conceding a single goal. Ridiculous.
Southampton vs QPR (Home): QPR continue to surprise me this season and do look a very solid side at home. Mind you, nobody has looked more solid at home than Southampton. They are still unbeaten at st Mary’s and have dropped just 2 points there this season. After their impressive win away at West Ham last weekend, they should be going into this with a lot of confidence.
WILL
West Ham vs West Brom (Home): Think this is my banker of the weekend, West Ham were narrowly beaten by Southampton last weekend at home so they will be very keen to get back to winning ways. Where as West Brom struggled to a 1-1 draw to bottom of the league Preston.
Newcastle vs Everton (Draw): Newcastle have been very poor this season after losing some of their key players and haven’t really found a solution. Everton beat them 3-1 in the cup so I’m confident that there will be an improvement from Newcastle this weekend. Going for a draw as I don’t think Newcastle have enough to win the game.
