- Home (3 pts)
Birmingham 3-0 QPR

Tottenham 3-1 Coventry

Review: Not a bad week but my god don’t you notice when you don’t win the big bet!? A 4 out of 6 week just doesn’t hit like it does when you get those extra 5 points. Still, back to the top of the league after just the one week out.

SCHOEY (7 pts)

Milton Keynes 2-1 Luton (BIG BET) - Away (0 pts)
Brentford 1-2 Liverpool
- Draw (0 pts)
Leicester 2-1 Doncaster
- Away (0 pts)
Birmingham 3-0 QPR -
Home (3 pts)
Newcastle 0-1 Aston Villa
- Home (4 pts)
Tottenham 3-1 Coventry - Draw (0 pts)

Review: Another below average week last week. No minus points for heavy defeats which was nice, but no big bet again. Just brum at home and villa away for 7 points. Hopefully I can do better this week!

WILL (4 pts)

Milton Keynes 2-1 Luton (BIG BET) - Away (0 pts)
Everton 0-2 Chelsea
- Away (4 pts)
Millwall 2-2 Lincoln -
Home (0 pts)
Plymouth 0-2 Huddersfield -

Birmingham 3-0 QPR

Review: Well how things can change in a week 25 points the week before and 4 points this week just great knowledge obviously. Good job Chelsea and Spurs managed to get their wins to give me some points.

Big Bet

Bristol Rovers vs Swindon (1 Draw, 2 Away)

Kieran (Away): The age old question, why would an Oxford fan back Swindon for a win? Well, it means that if they do unfortunately win, I at least get some respite with the Tipple points. And if they lose, I sleep soundly knowing my jinx has worked.

Schoey (Away): I can’t ignore the fact that Rovers have lost 7 of their last 8 games in all comps. Swindon haven’t been great either, but I’m hoping their massive 1-3 win away at Barnet last week has given them some confidence.

Will (Draw): Both teams have been awful recently I don’t want to commit to either of them so I’m going for the draw. With 1 win in their combined last 10 games I don’t have much confidence this is going to be anything special to watch.

Clashes

Portsmouth vs Millwall (2 Home, 1 Draw)

Kieran (Home): After their loss to Southampton, Portsmouth haven’t lost yet, I’m backing them to continue that form into this gameweek and win me and them all 3 points.

Will (Draw): Pompey have had some really good results this season and were unlucky to lose the derby against Southampton, they have since won 2 games and last week drew with Wolves away which highlights how good they have been. Millwall are always going to be a hard team to beat, they’ve played some very good football this season. I don’t want to split them; I think this is going to be a 2-2 draw, I can see Kieran’s thought with a Pompey win but he’s wrong.

Coventry vs Fulham (1 Home, 1 Draw)

Kieran (Draw): Cov let me down last week I can’t lie, but I’m going to give them one last chance for redemption and say that they will sneak a point against a Fulham team who had a decent win against Hull last week.

Schoey (Home): I can’t help but back my team when we’re at home against one of the worser performing sides in the league. Though the table doesn’t look great, we have been in every game this season. Just need to be more clinical🤞

Blackburn vs Wrexham (1 Home, 1 Draw)

Kieran (Draw): My one non-research pick of the week goes to Blackburn and Wrexham, nothing here other than a feeling that these two teams will cancel each other out and share the points…. and give me a big fat 5.

Schoey (Home): Though there is only a point between them in the table, I do think these are two teams heading in different directions. Wrexham definitely haven’t been as strong as they were last season. Whereas Blackburn have been pretty woeful for a couple of years but have shown good signs this season. Winning 3 and losing just 1 of their last 5 games, hopefully Blackburn will have the confidence to beat Wrexham at home.

Going It Alone

Kieran

West Ham vs Southampton (Home): Think this is the one I’m banking on this week, West Ham for me should be winning this league easily and would be if it wasn’t for big Will Lankshear. I think they will brush past this Southampton side at home

SCHOEY

Stevenage vs MK Dons (Home): Just looking at the table shows why I’ve gone for this pick. Stevenage are 3 points off playoffs and MK are 2 points of bottom of the table. MK have only won 1 league game in 10 and that was at home

WILL

Cheltenham vs Newport (Home): Newport have failed to win away this season while they have had a good run of form being unbeaten in 6. I just have a feeling this duct won’t be broken here going for the home win.

Exeter vs Fleetwood (Home): Easy pick here for me 3 wins and a draw for Exeter in their last 4. Fleetwood were dealt a heavy defeat last week to Cheltenham losing 4-2 away and another long trip down the M5 this weekend I don’t see much hope for them.

Stoke vs Bristol City (Home): Stoke have been quietly moving up the table I was surprised to see them sitting 6th in the table. The momentum is definitely with them at the moment. City on the other hand have struggled losing two on the bounce. I think this is maybe my safest pick of the weekend.
