We’ve all been pretty starved of a Big Bet win so we were all relieved to see the draw come in last week. Not so relieved to see we’d all gone for the same but you can’t have everything in life.

That’ll do nicely. I must admit I cannot believe none of us have got a 20+ point score yet this season, and still we go on searching for it. Not quite sure where the Reading score came from but other than that I was AGAIN pretty hard done by with the other two results. I’m riding my luck a bit that the other two are having similar sort of form, so I need to have a big week sooner or later and put a statement week on the league.

Well thank heavens for that! Finally a solid week and a big bet win! Just a shame Kieran and Will predicted a big bet draw too! Oh well, I’ll take what I can get. An away win for Swindon and home win for Brum left me on 17 points for the week. Can’t complain with that!

Well I got away with one this week, Saturday was very depressing seeing 4 of my picks not come in. Sunday’s big bet saved my weekend with a massive 10pts for backing the draw. I thought the draw was never coming once Chelsea went down to 10 but it was a great game and to finish all level was a fair point for each side. Top it off with Birmingham winning on Monday night to bring in 13pts.

Gameweek 15 Picks
Kieran
Colchester vs Gillingham (BIG BET) - Home
Colchester have been on excellent form of late, and I’m counting on that to carry them through to a home win against a Gillingham side who are struggling to maintain their early season pace.
Derby vs Leicester - Home
I’ve learned my lesson, I’ve gone against Derby too many times so I need to change tact. If this doesn’t work, then I really do just need to give up on the Derby games.
Bournemouth vs Chelsea - Draw
Chelsea are in fine form but I think Bournemouth at home should be able to frustrate them and hold them to just a point. I’m a bit worried about this one I must admit, could be the one that ends up being a 4 or 5 point loss.
Southampton vs Birmingham - Away
Southampton are poor, Birmingham are better. My basis for this pick is as simple as that. The Saints I’m afraid to say just haven’t lived up to pre season expectations and I have lost faith in them now.
Scunthorpe vs Tamworth - Home
Why not get a lower league game in whilst we run through the FA Cup weekend. There is a huge points gap between these two, so I expect a pretty standard home win.
Halifax vs Braintree - Home
Another that I hope to be a standard home win. An 8 point gap, and more importantly a 10 point gap in terms of Home vs Away, should make the difference.

Colchester vs Gillingham (BIG BET) - Home
I can’t ignore the form on this weeks big bet. Even though Gillingham are a point ahead and 2 places higher in the table, Colchester have won their last 4 games in all comps, whereas Gillingham havent won 1 of their last 4! The home advantage on top of that, made my decision even more definite. I’m going for a big bet home win.
Aston Villa vs Arsenal - Draw
Villa are on fire at the moment, winning 6 in a row in all comps! They may even beat arsenal with their injury problems. I just think Arsenals 18 game unbeaten run may be hard to break.
Southampton vs Birmingham - Draw
Southampton had seemed to have figured it out until their last game away at the Den. Which was still a close 3-2 defeat. Birmingham had also been doing well recently but more so at home than away. I think this could be a Southampton win or draw. Hopefully the latter.
Hartlepool vs Yeovil - Home
Hartlepool should undeniably win this game. unbeaten in 7 games whereas Yeovil have lost 3 of their last 5. Hartlepool are also 7 places higher and 9 points better off than Yeovil. They also have the home advantage so I expect a Hartlepool win.
Rochdale vs Southend - Home
Top of the league, home advantage and 11 points ahead of Southend. This seems like a no brainer. Rochdale have won their last 4 games in a row and have only dropped 3 points at home all season so far. Southend have a bang average recent form, so I’m going for a Rochdale win.
Fulham vs Crystal Palace - Draw
On Tuesday mon this week I had an away win on this fixture. Until I realised that Fulham have actually won 3 out of their last 5 games and nearly pulled back a 5-5 defeat to man city in the week. They definitely play better at home, which is reflected in their results. So I think they may hold their own against a palace team I rate highly.

Colchester vs Gillingham (BIG BET) - Home
Well at the start of the Season Colchester were one of my picks to go up and they are around the plays off currently. They are also the form team with 3 wins in a row compared to Gillingham they have drawn there last 3. With Colchester at home I’m picking the easier option on this one.
Aston Villa vs Arsenal - Away
I just think Arsenal will have too much. I was very impressed with Mosquera and Hincapié who slotted in very nicely with the absence of Gabriel and Saliba. Villa themselves are on a good run of form and it shows with them sitting in 3rd. Arsenal won’t have an easy afternoon but I think they will come away with 3pts.
Everton vs Newcastle - Draw
Can’t argue that Sean Dyche has come in and reignited Forests form losing 1 in his last 5, with a very convincing 3-0 win over Liverpool. For Everton they are looking strong with a 1-0 win against Bournemouth mid week. This is going to be a very tight affair and I think it has draw written all over it.
Fulham vs Crystal Palace - Draw
Fulham showed some fight against City to 5-1 down to finish 5-4. While Palace managed a solid 1-0 win away to Burnley after a tough loss to Man United at the weekend. I would have gone with a Palace win if Mateta was in good form, but he has been struggling recently for goals. I think they cancel each other out and will end all square.
Hartlepool vs Yeovil - Home
We love to have the lower leagues coming in and my first pick from the National League is Hartlepool home win. They are in great form and haven’t lost in November. With Yeovil only winning 1 in their last 5 and that win came at home against Boston United who currently sit in 18th place.
Halifax vs Braintree - Home
Halifax have had a difficult period recently but are still sitting top half. I can see a little bit of reason with picking them to win with their last home game they won 3-0 and previous to that they lost 1-0 to a in form Hartlepool. Braintree meanwhile have found some form picking up crucial points in their last 3 fixtures to bring them out of the relegation zone. I just have a feeling Halifax win this one.
