Well I did tell them not to be boring on the big bet. Unfortunately though that’s the only thing I have to be smug about this week, pretty poor but atleast another double points week.
Travelling this week so will be a late preview but I’ll stick my games in below!

Well my less research tactic got me more points than the week before so lets do that again!
Coventry away (easy 4 points), Oldham away and Altrincham at home landed me on 11 points for the week which I'm fairly happy with. Hopefully we can try and add a correct big bet prediction to that this weekend!
Will: 12 points

Blackburn 1-1 Portsmouth - Draw (5pts)

Another 12 points nice bit of consistency. Kicking myself with the big bet after seeing how well Lincoln played but we move on. Nice draw prediction with Pompey Vs Blackburn gave me 5 points and more importantly saw both sides drop points in the league. Still only 30 points split myself at the top to kieran at the bottom so we can’t afford any slip ups.

Oxford vs Charlton (BIG BET) - Draw
Well I was hoping the mid week games would've made this decision easier! But after both teams had impressive wins in their fights to stay in the championship, it only made this harder. I would've leant more toward Oxford with them having 3 wins on the bounce and the home advantage, but Charlton did have the more impressive win away at second in the league Middlesbrough in the week. So I'm going with a draw.
Leicester vs QPR - Home
It's crunch time for Leicester with them somehow finding themselves in a very serious relegation battle. A win in the week and playing at home against a very out of form QPR who have lost 4 on the bounce, should give them a bit of a confidence boost. This is a must win for Leicester.
Norwich vs Preston - Home
This was a pretty easy pick for me. Norwich have won 10 out of 12 in the league this year! And Preston showed nothing to be admired away at Coventry in the week and have been in pretty terrible form recently, having 0 wins in their last 6 games.
Wycombe vs Luton - Home
On the face of it, these teams seem pretty similar. but after looking at recent form I could see that Wycombe's home form has been exceptional this year and Luton's away form pretty poor. Which has led me to this pick.
Swindon vs MK Dons - Away
MK Dons last loss in the league was on January 1st this year!
While Swindon have had some very impressive patches to the season, they haven't exactly been great as of late. Winning just 1 of their last 5 games.
Manchester United vs Aston Villa - Home
Here we have 2 teams which have appeared to switch forms from a few months ago. up until last weekend Man Utd were unbeaten this calendar year! Something I never expected to be saying in March this year! Whereas Villa have fallen into pretty poor form. Winning just 1 of their last 6 premier league games, which was against a fairly poor Brighton side at home. They have also played away at Lille on Thursday night this week, so will be much less rested than the Utd players.

Oxford vs Charlton (BIG BET) - Home
I have to back Oxford on this any other result I’ll be annoyed with. Winning 3 on the bounce Oxford seems to be getting some momentum finally. It’s going to be another big test with Charlton visiting on Saturday. They’ve had two big wins themselves first against Birmingham at home and again midweek away to Middlesbrough to pick up some crucial points.
Sunderland vs Brighton - Home
The black cats have only lost twice at home this season and only conceded 13 goals for a team that is in their first season in the prem they have done brilliantly. I think they will have enough to get past Brighton this weekend whom themselves played very well against Arsenal last week and narrowly only lost 1-0. Just got a bit of feeling there have a long trip back down to the south coast.
Crystal Palace vs Leeds - Draw
I think this game has draw written all over it. Palace playing midweek in Europe might give Leeds a good opportunity to take all 3pts. For Leeds last weekend was nice to finally see a win against Norwich and I think they will build on this result, yes I know it’s Norwich and that’s why I do think they win.
Birmingham vs Sheffield United - Home
Birmingham finally got a win at home to QPR and maybe this is a sign that they are serious about challenging for a top 6 spot and there going to have to win this game if they want to be in the mix. I think Sheffield aren’t playing for anything now knowing they’re safe and would probably have to win every game until the end of the season to be in the play offs.
Leicester vs QPR - Home
Leicester winning midweek was big turn around for them and they desperately needed it. I really hope they do lose but I don’t think they will so second best is for them to draw and only get a point. No hard feelings any Leicester fans reading this.
Swindon vs MK Dons - Draw
I’ve just got a bit of a gut feeling on this one. Swindon seem to giving a good go to fall down the league table dropping points in their last 3 games. This one stuck out for me where it’s going to be a tough test for MK and Swindon badly need to turn these draws into wins. I’m going with they split the points in this clash
