Well what a way to come back down to earth after an excellent EDGE week last week. Very disappointed in the Bolton result, especially as I believe Will had a draw the jammy bastard. Luckily Plymouth and them lot down the road saved me, made even more sweet by the fact that at the time of writing this they are losing 3-0 to Colchester, effectively ending their automatic promotion hopes. Delightful.

Well that was a game week to forget.. That's what I get for being on holiday. -3 points... I was on for -10 at half time so I was actually slightly relieved with -3. Which is just sad really.

Let's hope for a big week!

Great week for myself 21 points and taken a 14 point lead over Schoey. Great shout for the big bet coming in as a draw. Then Blackburn Vs West Brom was a brilliant nil nil game not just for the Tipple points but keeping West Brom in that relegation scrap. Derby showing that they’re still in the hunt for a play off place I’m sure Archie is loving it at the moment.

Gameweek 34 Picks

Kieran

MK Dons vs Bromley (BIG BET) - Home
Now, this is a bit of a dodgy one in my opinion, but hear me out. Granted Bromley have been on a better run of form of late than MK, but it’s not exactly been world beating, and they have shown that they are able to slip up away from home. Most noteably drawing and losing to Barnet and Barrow respectively. MK are a decent team at home, and I believe they can pull off a win here to send the title race into the final few weeks.

Sunderland vs Tottenham - Home
I’m banking on Spurs being crap enough that they get no new manager bounce at all here. I really think they might be heading down. With West Ham winning putting massive pressure on, I just don’t think they’ve got it in them to fight back.

Birmingham vs Wrexham - Draw
Brum have been very on and off this season, and with Wrexham still in the fight for the playoffs, this will be an interesting game to watch. I’m going for a hard fought draw.

Stoke vs Blackburn - Away
Two teams who can pretty much be on the beach now, with Blackburn having slightly more to play for in that they are not 100% out of the relegation shout yet, I think this might go the way of the away team.

Bradford vs Stevenage - Home
Bradford are not totally out of the automatics conversation just yet, if they can grab a win here it might set up a very interesting race going into the final few weeks of play.

Newport vs Harrogate - Draw
What a situation we have at the bottom of League Two, I think this will be a classic case of neither team wanting to lose. 0-0 draw incoming please.

MK Dons vs Bromley (BIG BET) - Away
It seems like Mk's wheels have started to fall off slightly after having really strong periods throughout the season. Their recent form hasn't been great. No wins in their last 4 games. Whereas Bromley have only lost 1 game since the 29th of November! Which is pretty ridiculous.

Southampton vs Derby - Home
Even though I do think Derby were a pretty strong side against Coventry, Southampton have just been too good to ignore recently. Knocking Arsenal out of the FA cup and thumping Wrexham 1-5 away. They also haven't lost since the 17th of Jan. They're finally performing at the level they should be and are now my favourites to win the playoffs.

Blackpool vs Peterborough - Home
Looking at the table this seems a not so bright bet. But the fact of the matter is, Blackpool are 1 spot outside the relegation zone and are fighting to survive. While Peterborough's season is essentially over already, as they currently sit 13points outside the playoffs. Blackpool have also stepped up to the challenge, having drawn 1 and won 3 of their last 5 games. Those 3 wins all coming from home games.

Bradford vs Stevenage - Home
Bradford currently have the second best home record in the league. Having only lost 1 home game since the 8th of November. Although Stevenage do have the better recent form, I feel the pressure is more on them to stay in the playoff spots.

Birmingham vs Wrexham - Draw
After having some strong bouts throughout the season, the Birmingham money hype has finally come to an end. For this season anyway. While Wrexham are desperately fighting for a playoff spot, which is definitely within reach if other results go their way. So I was toying with a Wrexham win, but I do think the heavy loss to Southampton on Tuesday would've been a big blow to their confidence.

Chelsea vs Manchester City - Away
Chelsea have only beat 1 top tier team since the 7th of Feb. Before playing Port Vale last weekend, they had lost 4 games in a row. So they haven't been great to say the least. Whereas Man city have convincingly beat Arsenal and Liverpool in their last 2 games. Which in itself is enough for me to back city here to be honest.

Will

MK Dons vs Bromley (BIG BET) - Home
Wow what could go wrong with this one, half 12 kick off and Mk haven’t won in there last 4 games. Bromley hasn’t won stumbled slightly in recent weeks but got back to winning ways against Shrewsbury. It’s very much a toss of a coin this one and I’m landing on the home side to win this.

Liverpool vs Fulham - Home
There was a poor performance midweek from Liverpool they just didn’t show up. I am expecting them to go back to Anfield and really show up. It’s not going to be easy against a Fulham side that have played some very good football this season. Liverpool should have enough to get this victory if they don’t they can write champions league football off next season.

Chelsea vs Manchester City - Away
I can imagine this going to be a very popular game this weekend and I can’t think a lot of players will pick the home side to win. City have been in some form recently dismantling Arsenal and Liverpool in the manner they did to just show that this title race isn’t over just yet.

Birmingham vs Wrexham - Draw
Another massive game for Wrexham in their pursuit of the play offs. After getting hammered 5-1 to Southampton they really need to win this. I’ve watched parts of Birmingham’s games in the past weeks and they have just been way off winning only once in their last 5. With the hype of this game though I don’t think Wrexham walk away with the win.

Bradford vs Stevenage - Home
Bradford have picked up back to back wins providing some crucial points to 3rd in the league. Stevenage have been playing well with 3 wins in the last 5 and have only lost once, but they seem to only be winning at home and struggling on the road and for that reason I’m backing the home side to win.

Grimsby vs Crewe - Home
After Crewe’s impressive win against Salford last weekend I’m going to back them this week. They have won 3 and lost 1 in their last 5 they seem to be in slightly better form. There is one result for Grimsby that made me go for the away win and that is they lost to relegation strugglers Harrogate town 3-1 at home.
