WE WILL TAKE THAT. A huge time to get an EDGE week and to close the gap on Will to 36 points, is there time for one final push? It’s going to take a big turn around but this could be a massive way to end the season

Well you might as well call me Tipple_Arsenal because I bottled it this season big time. I suppose after being a rather large amount of points ahead of Kieran and Will earlier in the season, it just shows how much the tables can turn on Tipple! I’m just hoping I can get back above Kieran in the final week!

What a season it has been, a massive 28pts last week with 5/6 correct. Was let down for with the 92nd minute winner from Callum Wilson which would have given me my first perfect week. I can’t complain though top of the inaugural Twits league with a huge 36 point lead on Kieran, It would take something crazy to happen this weekend to get knocked off the top.
Current Standings
1st) Will (Correct: 96, Points: 395)
2nd) Schoey (Correct: 89, Points: 359)
3rd) Kieran (Correct: 90, Points: 348)
Gameweek 38 Picks
Kieran
Manchester United vs Liverpool (BIG BET) - Home
Might be a bit risky this one knowing how United are, but I’m going for it. I think Liverpool are just a bit meh this season, and United seem to have found a way to get results in important games. I am hoping that continues, the TWITS title could rest on the big bet.
Portsmouth vs Birmingham - Home
Bit of a nothing game this, but I think Pompey with no pressure on them will play some free flowing attacking football and win it.
Wrexham vs Middlesbrough - Draw
Probably one of the biggest games in the Championship this weekend, with both teams eyeing for Play Offs and Automatics respectively. I am hoping for a tight cagey 0-0, with neither team coming out happy.
Bolton vs Luton - Draw
One where Luton have a little bit more to play for with Bolton having secured Play Offs already. Sitting just outside is sometimes a better place to be than just inside as you don’t have that pressure of bottling it, however, Bolton will still want to keep the top spot of the Play Offs to make their lives easier. So I’m going for a draw
Swindon vs Chesterfield - Away
My dream result in this would be a 95th minute winner for Chesterfield to secure the Play Offs and knock them lot out of it. Please please please.
Newcastle vs Brighton - Away
Went back and forth on this one a few times, I think Brighton with the Champions League still to play for might be going for a it a bit more than the Magpies and come out with the win.

Manchester United vs Liverpool (BIG BET) - Home
Carrick has done a pretty unbelievable job to seemingly overcome the rot of united this season. Whereas we all know Liverpools season has been fairly underwhelming. I think the home advantage will lead Utd to a win this weekend.
Newcastle vs Brighton - Away
This may be the first time this season we’ve had a team who have lost their last 5 against a team who have won their last 5. Take a wild guess which one I’m backing.
Bolton vs Luton - Away
Bolton have seemed to drop off in form since the start of this year. They can’t reach an automatic spot now and are safely in the playoffs. While Luton have really hit form and the right time in their fight for a playoff spot. So I’ve backed Luton on this one.
Reading vs Blackpool - Away
I’ve realised that this is a purely recent form backing, as neither team have nothing to play for. But Blackpool have won 4 of their last 5 whereas Reading have won none of their last 5.
Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace - Home
Bournemouth have done incredibly well this season and will be desperate to hold on to their European spot and I hope they do. They deserve it. Whereas Palace’s focus I believe has been purely on the Conference league for a while now. Because their form in the league hasn’t been great recently.
Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest - Home
This could be a bit of a risky one for obvious reasons. Chelsea haven’t exactly been great of late but have finally got rid of Will McKenzie. Enzo is back in the squad and Forrest only played on Thursday night against Villa in the Europa league. So I’ve decided to back Chelsea at home this weekend.
Will
Manchester United vs Liverpool (BIG BET) - Draw
Think this is going to be a great game I’m thinking goalfest here. With Isak returning and scoring last week he’ll be looking to make sure his return from injury helps Liverpool secure champions league football next season. United on the other hand have been some force under Carrick he has got them playing some very good football in the second half of the season. I’m going for a draw sitting on the fence on this.
Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest - Home
After watching the Fa Cup semi final (painfully) I think that could have been one of the worst semi finals in the cups history but I digress. Chelsea got the job done though, now with Rosiner gone the players have no one else to blame except themselves and they need champions league football so this has to be a must win game.
Hull vs Norwich - Home
In my head seems straight forward, Hull have to win to have a chance of play offs. While Norwich are planning for next season. I’m just hoping it is that simple for this pick.
Wrexham vs Middlesbrough - Home
I’ve got to go for a Wrexham win, the Hollywood story from the National league to the Prem would make great television. This isn’t going to be an easy game for Phil Parkinson’s side. I’m sure Boro will be turning up knowing if they win this they have done everything they can to get automatics and just rely on a little bit of luck from games elsewhere to see them finish second.
Bolton vs Luton - Away
Bolton know where they stand there in the play offs and nothing here is changing that. Now are they going to rest a couple players make sure they are fresh and ready come the playoffs I’m thinking they might. With Luton coming to town knowing they have to win to have a chance of the playoffs, I can seem them getting the job done here. Must say what a manager Jack Wilshire is showing he is to turn Luton’s season around and get them to this stage.
Grimsby vs Crewe - Home
Orient have to win this game for their survival if they don’t back in to league two they go. Burton are safe already getting the job done last week with a point against Exeter. Again seems like a no brainer to back Leyton Orient on this one.
