Review: Not the best but not the worst week for me, but…that’s now 4 weeks in a row I’ve nailed the big bet. I’m now almost a full 20 points above Will and over 50 above Schoey, and also 21st in the Global league, so I’m feeling good.

Review: Yes the headline is about me. I have absolutely lost my head. STILL no correct big bet results for me and 2 consecutive weeks of 3-pointers. Absolute dog water. So, basically I’m getting desperate. Since week 2 I’ve had 2 or 3 of my H/A predictions end in a draw every week. Hence why I’ve chucked in 5 draws this week. All I need is 1 correct to beat the last 2 weeks! Wish me luck… I’m gonna need it!

Kieran (Away): Both of these teams have had indifferent starts lets be honest, but I think Salford will be the more disappointed of the two considering where they were expecting to be this season. For me if they’re going to compete, they need to start winning these games and fast. That’s why I’m going for an away win.
Schoey (Draw): Oldham’s recent form has been pretty poor, losing 3 of their last 5. Saying that, even though Salford have the better form, they have only earnt 1 point out of a possible 9 on the road this season.
Will (Away): Oldham currently on a run of 3 losses in a row, compared to Salford unbeaten in 4 with winning 3 and a very tight 3-3 draw against Rotherham. It is a difficult choice on this but that’s the game I’m leaning to the Salford away win here.
Where We Clash
York vs Gillingham (1 Home, 1 Draw, 1 Away)
Kieran (Draw): I’ve gone big this week and this is just one of the 3 victims of my random draw picks. No research done at all on this, pure luck has served me pretty well so far so I’ve doubled down on it this week.
Schoey (Away): Pretty mad that Will, Kieran and I have all gone different results in this game. My Away pick is based mainly on recent form. But seeing as it’s the only fixture of mine I haven’t got a draw on, we all know what the outcome’s going to be don’t we?
Will (Home): Long way for the Gills to travel this weekend and going up to York who have currently won all their home games this season. Gillingham haven’t been beaten away yet so will be a tight game but backing the home side to get the win here.
Carlisle vs Woking (1 Home, 1 Draw, 1 Away)
Kieran (Draw): I know it sounds bad, but again, a victim of absolutely no research and pure blind luck. I sincerely hope this comes off and if it doesn’t I will be spending every evening next week deep researching the teams….I promise.
Schoey (Draw): Both teams have drawn 2 of their last 3 games. Woking can score a lot of goals but so far have only been able to show that at home. Carlisle have also been scoring freely at home but have conceded in every game this season.
Will (Home): Another long trip up north for Woking and I’m not sure what the other two are thinking here. Woking have failed to win away in their first 4 games so far.
Going It Alone
Kieran
Tranmere vs Walsall (Draw): And here is the 3rd of my no research victims. However in fairness, Tranmere being 5 points behind Walsall could be overcome by them being at home, so I do believe they could get that home advantage
Stockport vs Peterborough (Home): Now this one, I’ll be honest, I cannot believe the other two didn’t pick up on. Stockport at home and Peterborough absolutely shocking at the moment, and I read midweek they may have lost a few key players with injuries, and a couple on internationals. I think this is a banker.
SCHOEY
Cheltenham vs Chesterfield (Draw): Both these teams are flying at the moment, neither team losing a game in their last 6! Chesterfield have won their last 4 so will be full of confidence. But with Cheltenham being the home side, this should be a close game.
Wycombe vs Reading (Draw): This is probably my most confident draw pick of the bunch. Reading have been very solid at home but are yet to win away. Whereas Wycombe are still yet to win at home! I think this’ll be a close game with both team desperate for their first home or away win.
Worthing vs Halifax (Draw): Similar level teams. Halifax have good home form while Woking have better form away, so anything can happen really but let’s stick with the draws.
WILL
Shrewsbury vs Colchester (Away): Bit of a gut feel on this one with going for a Colchester away win. They haven’t had the best run lately but Shrewsbury are such a up and down team. They lost 3-1 against Barnet at home then the next week at home they beat Salford 1-0 it just doesn’t seem steady in Shropshire.
South Shields vs Buxton (Home): I’ll be honest I haven’t got a clue of either of these teams. Last time out South Shields lost 6-0 away. They then won 7-0 in the FA Cup against Witton Albion who we all know play in step 4 of the pyramid. With this brilliant record I couldn’t not pick them to win at home.
